Judges are sourced from outside of Hay and are impartial.
Judges for 2023 are Daisy Huntly (Australian Community Media), Leesa Muir (Deniliquin Pastoral Times) and small business advisor Court Sayer-Roberts.

Business of the Year (sponsored by The Riverine Grazier and Hay Services Club), Business Champion (sponsored by Hay Shire Council), Small Business of the Year (under 5 employees, sponsored by Bendigo Bank), Employer of the Year, Employee of the Year, Apprentice or Trainee of the Year (sponsored by BayWa r.e), Excellence in Hospitality, Excellence in Customer Service, Excellence in Health & Beauty, Excellence in Agriculture, Excellence in Trades Services and the Ambassador Award.
Awards night will be held at the Hay Services Club at a time TBA.
