Community celebrations for NAIDOC Day 2023 will be held this year in the Hay Park. Hosted by Nari Nari Tribal Council.
The day will be filled with activities which include traditional weaving classes, craft activities, involvement in aboriginal design paintings, traditional food tasting. JL the Barber will be there again this year who is always popular.
There will be guest speakers, market stalls and more.
NAIDOC Day celebrations aim to showcase the importance of NAIDOC Aboriginal culture and reconciliation. It's a wonderful event for all cultures to come together and enjoy a fantastic evening together.
