And they're off! The races are the biggest day on the Hay social calendar as the town swells with racegoers. The Fashions on the Field is the largest in country NSW and the Hay Gold Cup attracts horses from across the State. Racegoers can choose from a variety of hospitality packages from umbrella packages right through to fully catered marquees. A day not to be missed for anyone who loves a day at the track.

Located at the end of Lachlan street near the bridge, the Lions Park has a large park area with Jungle Jim, public toilets and free BBQ with access to the river via Bushy Bend.

A wonderful afternoon of fun and activities for all ages. Commencing at 2pm with giant inflatables, a sausage sizzle and snacks. Then the evening events get started at 7pm, with a giant movie screen and dinner. This is a free event for all ages, a community celebration.
